I've changed some of the light bulbs in my house to energy saving ones but I've got quite a lot more that need to be changed as the current ones burn out? Is there a particular type or brand that is "best"?
I don't want to compromise and have to make do with a lot less light, and I don't really want big ugly things that everyone really notices. Are there particular ones I should look at?

Best Light Bulbs
I'm also looking for good energy saving bulbs. The ones I've bought before have a colder light and I want some with a warmer glow. Does anyone know where I can get these?

I've found that most low energy bulbs that you can buy nowadays have a warmer light. The cold light that you talk about was generally found in models in the past, but now many of them offer the same colour light as incandescant bulbs. I've bought both General Electric and IKEA bulbs recently and they were both absoluteley fine

I've changed all the bulbs in my house over to energy saving ones but I haven't yet found an answer for what do do about the halogen bulbs that I've got in various places around the house. I've looked at various web sites but, as far as I can see there isn't really a good answer to what to replace halogen bulbs with.............unless someone can tell me different?
